Who is Lex Sánchez Torres? (aka lexsantor)
If I had to define myself, it would be as a Product Designer focused on solving user problems. This is because of my passion to help and understand the goals to design a successful plan and eventually turn it into reality.
My passion for posters, flyers, postcards, and cover art led me to choose graphic design and that helped me turn creative ideas into something physical. Since that was not enough for me and I wanted to evolve, I decided to study Art Direction to expand my knowledge, which gave me a much broader view of conceptualizing ideas from other angles.
Over time, I realized that these ideas can help people, and with the eagerness to learn that always accompanies me, I decided to take a risk and jumpstart my career by joining Ironhack Barcelona to learn everything related to user problems; because when these ideas solve a problem, the satisfaction is pure.
My goal is to become a mediator between the existing problems and the design, focusing on the user to improve the visual part and usability of programs, websites, or software.
Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.
